Introducing Our Featured Member for July: The IOAC

The IOAC (International Outdoor Adventure Centre) is the South East’s premier outdoor adventure centre and camping destination. The multi award winning centre in Tagoat, near Rosslare in County Wexford, boasts spacious and fully-equipped camping grounds for tents, caravans, campervans and glamping. The site is also home to a multitude of thrilling outdoor activities, guaranteed to entertain visitors of all ages and interests.

Activity Packed

The IOAC’s activities are open daily throughout July and August until 8pm, with the last activity starting at 7pm. Adventure seekers can take part in kayaking, archery, axe throwing, high rope challenges, crate stacking, raft building, the Viking Challenge obstacle course and more, courtesy of the IOAC’s unrivalled facilities and expert instructors.

Summer Camps

Each year the IOAC’s summer camps prove extremely popular with holidaymakers and local families alike. Starting in the first week of July and running through until Friday 1st September, the Summer Camp operates from Monday to Friday each week, from 10am until 3pm. Here children aged 8 and above can enjoy a packed schedule of thrilling adventures, whilst making new friends and discovering new passions, all under the expert guidance of the team of experienced, fun-loving camp counsellors.

Camps for Ages 5 to 7

This year, the IOAC has also launched a new Kids’ Camp especially for younger adventurers. This dedicated camp for ages 5 to 7 is jam-packed with outdoor activities, fun and games and runs for 2 hours per day, from 10am to 12pm, every Wednesday to Sunday. For any families looking to keep their kids entertained, active and outdoors over the holidays, the IOAC’s summer camps offer the perfect solution.

Onsite Food and Drink

The IOAC has an onsite cafe where visitors can purchase hot snacks and sweet cakes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate or a refreshing cold drink. There is also a selection of new merchandise available in the shop. The popular ‘Camp Fryer’ is open in the evenings, serving up mouth-watering burgers and fries, ideal for refuelling after a day of action and adventure!

Onsite Evening Entertainment

Evening entertainment can be found throughout the summer months: enjoy live music every Saturday night in July and August with Donna Marie Cloke; Bingo takes place on Thursday evenings; and there is also a lively Kids’ Disco on Friday evenings.

For a summer of fun with family and friends, the IOAC is the place to be: from thrillseekers to memory makers, glampers to risk takers, everyone is guaranteed to Feel Every Moment.
